Uncommon variant, this was originally built with an aircraft catapult amidships that was later removed, the AA guns installed in place of the catapult were arranged differently than other standard Fletcher class ships. Can also be used as Hutchins, Pringle, Halford (Stevens was rebuilt differently after her catapult was removed). |
Bache 1943 WTJ-2044350P Fletcher class round-bridge destroyer circa 1943. Uncommon variant with eight 40mm AA guns (instead of six or ten). Can also be used as Converse. |
McKee 1943 WTJ-2044350Q Fletcher class round-bridge destroyer circa 1943. Uncommon variant with large AA sponson built forward of the bridge (sponson built locally at Orange, TX during fitting out). Can also be used as Wickes. |
